Head of International Strategy
The Energy Impact Center (EIC) seeks a Head of International Strategy to broker and oversee collaboration with key government bodies and related stakeholders in foreign markets. This role will work directly with local consultants mapping out strategy around deployment pathway, licensing, siting, public affairs, and power markets.
This role reports directly to the VP of Business Development and works collaboratively with our research and marketing teams.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

Build a strong working relationship with local consultants

Track and manage government communications strategy in target countries

Work with our business development team on stakeholder mapping
Qualifications
-
10+ years of experience in government affairs, business development, and/or management
-
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in energy, business, international relations, policy, engineering or other related field
-
Experience directing the work of project teams or managing people
-
Ability to communicate, both written and verbally, in an effective manner to the intended audience

Strong understanding of the energy industry

Critical thinker, ability to creatively solve problems, deal with ambiguity and a fast-paced changing environment
