Head of Marketing

The Energy Impact Center (EIC) seeks a Head of Marketing to run planning and execution of all marketing activities. After building a team of direct reports, he/she will drive awareness of the EIC brand, and run marketing activities that engage and convey our narrative of reversing climate change through the promotion of nuclear energy to audiences around the world.

This person will be adept at managing an internal team of approximately 5 FTEs and 10 outside consultants and overseeing all marketing functions including brand, digital, operations.

Reporting to the Managing Director, and working collaboratively and creatively with the content team, this leadership position will play an integral role in promoting EIC.

Key Duties & Responsibilities 

  • Lead and own the creation and execution of global marketing plans in partnership with the business development strategy

  • Hire, develop, manage, and coach a high-performing internal marketing team

  • Take ownership of and maintenance of all marketing software/tools for tracking marketing work to help create visibility and efficiency across the marketing team

  • Translate the overall annual marketing plan and goals into actionable quarterly targets, goals, initiatives and metrics

  • Drive development and optimization of marketing processes, systems and infrastructure that enable marketing to scale globally

  • Generate analytics on marketing performance, including ownership of marketing dashboards and creation of monthly and quarterly reports monitoring progress

  • Build project timelines and collaborate with the cross-functional teams on meeting the execution timing on key project activities​

Marketing Focus

  • We are extremely heavy on content production across several mediums and want to ramp up earned media.

  • We do not have a need for paid advertising experience.

  • Mapping customer needs and psychology, and then designing a customer journey is everything.​


  • 12+ years of marketing, analytics, or operations experience

  • Strong cross-functional relationship development skills, ability to manage highly competent people to high levels of performance, and skill in establishing effective program management processes

  • Proven success leading a team and working across cultures with distributed cross-functional teams

  • Strong understanding of marketing technology landscape, measurement, and attribution approaches

  • Strong management and project management skills

  • Critical thinker, ability to creatively solve problems, deal with ambiguity and a fast-paced changing environment
