Head of Finance Strategy
The Energy Impact Center (EIC) seeks a Head of Finance Strategy to run strategy and execution of all Energy Project / Structured Finance activities at a company developing the next generation of small Nuclear Reactors. He/she will lead the sourcing, structuring, negotiation, and closing of equity and debt investments into the company’s energy projects.

​​​Roles and Responsibilities

Lead negotiations with investors for the company’s energy production projects including development and construction debt, joint venture equity and tax equity

Create and maintain sophisticated financial models

Manage transaction execution and financial closing process for multiple projects at various stages of development

Manage handoff process between project finance, business development, and engineering, and improve transaction efficiency

Support documentation management in preparing ongoing analysis and reporting for lenders and investors

Expand the company’s relationships with new and existing energy project investors

Required Skills/Competencies
-
+10 years of experience in project finance, banking, finance operations, entrepreneurship.

Energy specific experience not strictly required, but highly encouraged.

Applied working knowledge of finance, accounting, commercial, tax and legal aspects of large scale product development and financing

Prior experience or applied working knowledge of international regulation and contracting structures is preferred

Needs both strong numerical and interpersonal skills

Critical thinker, ability to creatively solve problems, deal with ambiguity and a fast-paced changing environment

MBA/MS required
